About
An AI coworker, not another tool to manage.
Kosmo exists because winning public work is mostly reading: thousands of notices, hundreds of pages of requirements, and a go/no-go decision that has to be made before the deadline, not after.
Why we built it
Public procurement is one of the largest markets in Europe, and it is published in public. That is the strange part: the opportunities are open to everyone, and still most small companies bid on a handful a year because finding and reading them takes a person who is not there.
Bid teams at large suppliers have solved this with headcount — a tender desk that watches portals, reads the documents, and decides what is worth chasing. A twenty-person company cannot hire a tender desk. It can, however, hand the reading to an agent that never gets bored of a 180-page specification.
So we built Kosmo around a different question than “how do we score more matches?”. The question is: what would a good bid manager do next? Watch the portals. Open the documents. Check the requirements against what the company can actually prove. Tell you, in one message, whether this is worth your week.
What Kosmo actually does
- Coverage. A database of EU public tender notices collected from over 4,000 portals — national platforms, regional buyers, and the EU-level feeds — fetched daily.
- Reading. Tender documents downloaded, including scanned pages, then parsed into requirements, deadlines, evaluation criteria and annexes.
- Fit. Requirements checked against your company knowledge: certificates, references, capacities, past projects. Gaps are named, not smoothed over.
- Writing. Drafts for questionnaires and proposals with references back to your own documentation, and the open questions marked for you.
- Everything else around the bid. Emails to contractors and partners, research on consortium options, a presentation for the go/no-go meeting.
How it works
You talk to Kosmo the way you talk to a colleague: in a chat, by email, or in Slack, with files attached when files are the point. It answers with work rather than with instructions — a shortlist, a requirement table, a draft.
Behind the conversation there are three things: the tender database, your company knowledge base, and the agent that connects them. The knowledge base is built from what you give it — product documentation, credentials, reference projects, price lists — and it is the reason the answers cite your documents instead of inventing plausible ones.
What we optimise for
- Fewer wasted bids. A tender you should not chase costs more than a tender you never saw. Fit assessments are allowed to say no.
- Traceability. Every claim in a draft points at a document. If it cannot be traced, it is a question for you, not a sentence in the bid.
- Your data stays yours. Company documents are used to answer your questions, not to train shared models, and they can be removed on request. See the privacy policy for the detail.
- Boring reliability. A missed deadline is unrecoverable. Kosmo is built to surface deadlines early and to say when it does not know.
Kosmo is a young product. If something in the workflow is wrong for how your bid team works, we would rather hear it than have you work around it — that is usually the next thing we build.
Who it is for
SMEs and mid-sized suppliers who bid on public contracts in the EU and do not have a tender desk: IT and software, engineering, construction and facilities, medical and laboratory supply, training and consultancy. If you bid twice a year, Kosmo does the reading. If you bid twice a week, it does the reading and the first draft.
